First it was Cole. Then it was rumors. Now it’s Jay Electronica. A couple years back when Jay-Z inked the infamous groundbreaking record and multi-purpose deal with Live Nation, the most interesting thing out of the equation was his new Roc Nation private label. Signing the Carolina kid J. Cole as his flagship artist, everybody then waited to see who No. 2 was going to be. And without much further ado, Jay-Z recently announced 3o-something year-old New Orleans journeyman Jay Electronica as his next in line. With a roster saturated with some of hip-hop’s best talent, past + present, Roc Nation is looking to make some major moves in 2011. No DJ Zone gives you a preview of what’s to come and what you might expect from the Nation’s Big Three.
